Renovations at the Bay

The medicine cabinet finally arrived and is installed above the basin in the new toilet.

The bedroom doors have new door handles.

Here they are up close. They sit in the same fixtures usually filled by halogen spots (the light is crisper and the power usage miniscule in comparison).

LED lights right above the spot where the bench seat will eventually go. Probably the best place in the house.

Stylish little number above the laundry. Originally designated for the shower but changed our minds at the last minute.

Okay the lighting fittings are done. This first one is in the bathroom.

The dual, asymmetrical sphinx basins are installed with the lovely minimalist Methven mixers (both functional) and shiny bottle-traps. The basins are slightly higher than usual so that I don’t have to bend so much (if at all). Thanks Reuben.

The second toilet is partially assembled also. This was the original location of the old toilet (now a garden ornament).

The bath is very close to being usable. The kids can’t wait!
